Incrustation and corrosion, preventing. - The interior surface of a gas-holder is sprayed preferably at a height slightdy above the level of the sealing water with a jet of oil under great pressure in order to prevent it from rusting or corroding. The oil forms a layer on the top of the well water concentric with the holder and as the holder descends the interior surface becomes coated with a protective layer.
